We auto-match your family with two to three verified and licensed teachers whose travel radius covers your home, who specialize in the appropriate subjects and grade levels, and whose availability aligns. You can view their credentials, photos and experience.
Meet in person
Your teacher arrives at your home or preferred location. They review last week's homework, introduce new material, and assign next week's study. Same teacher, every visit.

What makes Big School House different from other tutoring services?
Every teacher is a degreed, licensed educator who has taught at a public, charter, or accredited private school within the last five years. Every session is in person. Every student works from a physical workbook and textbook.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions take place in your home, or another location of your choosing. Teachers set their own travel radius of 5, 10, 15, or 20 miles, and we only match you with teachers whose radius covers your zip code.
What ages and subjects do you cover?
We support grades K–12. For K–7 students we use a grade-level workbook and textbook combo. For high school we work by subject, such as Algebra I, Biology or U.S. History, matched precisely to the student’s current coursework.
How is this priced?
Five subscription tiers, from $145 per month (Foundation) to $580 per month (Full Immersion, high school). Pricing is transparent, set by the platform, and never negotiated.
